Miguel Lopez-BenitezDr. Miguel Lopez is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics (EEE) of the University of Liverpool (UoL), United Kingdom since 2013. Prior to this, he was a Research Fellow in the Centre for Communication Systems Research (CCSR) of the University of Surrey (UNIS), Guildford, United Kingdom from 2011 to 2013. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering (both with First-Class Honours) from Miguel Hernandez University (UMH), Elche, Spain in 2003 and 2006, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunications Engineering (2011 Outstanding Ph.D. Thesis Award) from the Department of Signal Theory and Communications (TSC) of the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, Spain in 2011. His research interests embrace the field of wireless communications and networking, with special emphasis on several theoretical and experimental aspects of cellular mobile communication technologies, heterogeneous radio access networks and dynamic spectrum access in cognitive radio systems. He has been a principal investigator of research projects funded by EPSRC/eFutures and UKIERI, and has been involved in the European-funded projects AROMA, NEWCOM++, FARAMIR, QoSMOS and CoRaSat.

S. N. MerchantDr. S. N. Merchant is a Professor with the Dept of Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay, Powai, India. His current research interests are in Signal Processing and Adaptive Signal Processing. He has published several papers in national/international conferences and international journals. He received his B.Tech degree in Electronics from IIT Bombay, India in 1978 and M.Tech degree in Electronics from IIT Bombay, India 1980. He received Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India in 1984.

Yogesh N TrivediDr. Yogesh N Trivedi is a Professor in the Dept of Electrical Engineering at Institute of Technology-Nirma University, Ahmedabad, India. His current research interests are in performance analysis and simulation of wireless communication systems and cognitive radio. He has published several papers in national/international conferences and international journals. He received his B.E degree in Electronics from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidya Nagar, India in 1993 and M.E degree in Industrial Electronics from M.S University of Baroda, India in 1995. He received Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, India in 2011. From 1995 to 1996, he worked as a lecturer in Faculty of Technology and Engineering, M.S University of Baroda. He has been guiding students for their M.Tech and Ph.D degrees in Nirma University. His area of interest are MIMO Wireless systems, statistical signal processing, Information and coding theory, multi carrier system, cognitive radio. Mehul S. RavalDr. Mehul S Raval is working as an Associate Professor at School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), Ahmedabad University, Ahmedabad, India. Earlier (2008-2013) he was associated with Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, Gujarat as an Assistant Professor. Before joining DA-IICT, he worked (1997 - 2008) at Electronics and Communication Engineering Department, Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology(SCET), Surat as a Lecturer, as an Assistant Professor and Department Incharge. He was a visiting faculty to Master's program in Electronics department at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology SVNIT (2005 / 2007) Surat and Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (2004 - 2008). Dr. Raval visited Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University, Japan during July- August 2016 under Sakura science exchange program sponsored by Japan Science and Technology (JST), Govt. of Japan. He coauthored a book on Image and Video Compression: Fundamentals, Techniques and Applications, CRC press, Nov. 2014. Dr. Raval has number of book chapters to his credit and he has published extensively in journals, magazines, conferences, workshops at national and international level. He is an actively supporting research community by serving as member of technical program committees for leading national and international conferences, workshops. He also reviews articles for leading journals of IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier, SEAS . He has received research funds from Board of Research in Nuclear Science (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and IEEE. His area of interest Image processing, Reversible watermarking, Soft biometrics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision.

Dhaval PatelDr. Dhaval Patel is currently working as Assistant Professor at School of Engineering and Applied Science - Ahmedabad University, India. Previously, he associated with Olin School of Engineering-MA-USA (Visiting Faculty), Nirma University, Charotar University of Science and Technology - Changa and as a Research Engineer at Pentium Electronics, Ahmedabad. He has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is a TPC member of many international conferences in U.S.A and India. He is contributing his services as a reviewer in International and National Journals like IEEE Transaction on Wireless Communications, NASA Journal of Physical Science, IEEE Communication letters, etc. Furthermore, he is an executive committee member of professional bodies like IEEE Signal Processing Society, ISTE and IETE. His area of interest includes Non-parametric statistics, Cognitive Radio-Physical Layer, MIMO Communications and Statistical Signal Processing.
